architecture

architecture is the core of what we do – our passion. cleardesigns’ focus in delivering a project is always the quality of the design. we work across a variety of sectors including retail and mixed use, with a large proportion of our projects being top-end residential. whatever the project, the design must reflect what the client wishes to achieve, whether this is a flexible office space, an extension that updates and rationalises the space in their home, or a stunning bespoke finish to their kitchen. whilst we are always enthusiastic about contemporary design we never lose sight that architecture has to fulfil a function. our logical attitude ensures that every aspect of a project we work on, not only looks beautiful but fulfils its function.

interior design

cleardesigns’ unified approach to delivering a project extends right through to the interior design. by working from the outside in and then the inside out, we are able to ensure that the exterior design of the project does not compromise the appearance and layout. this avoids impractical use of space allowing the design to flow as one. we use colour, texture and form to enhance the best architectural qualities of a building, fusing traditional materials with contemporary elements to create expressive interiors. we work with industry specialists on behalf of our clients to create the overall feel of the project. we can, if required select all interior finishes, your kitchen, bathrooms, choice of ironmongery and colour schemes. for our commercial clients we can also offer brand development.

Sustainability

homeowners in the uk are becoming increasingly aware of the impact lighting and heating their homes has on the environment. cleardesigns prides itself on its ability to make subtle enhancements to residential and mixed use projects that make the most of energy saving and ecologically friendly initiatives. these include rainwater harvesting, using materials from sustainable sources, improving insulation and introducing alternative energy sources such as solar panels. these go beyond government recommendations and make your home healthier, ‘greener’ and better for the environment and your family. currently the government and some service provider’s are offering grants and incentives.

Services and Lighting Design

We can provide services layouts and lighting designs with specifications to allow for accurate costs to be formed. This can involve layouts, design and even specification of the range of switches/sockets all in accordance with our client requirements. This also allows for the contractor to provide concise services costs.

3d imagery

cleardesigns can provide 3d imagery and renders to highlight how the internal space and that of the external will be seen in a graphical manor for clients ease of understanding the designs. clients have found this very useful to understand the new design and the spatial feel to the property with the new layout.

labc

cleardesigns can now offer the service of being a member of the LABC partner authority scheme. this partnering with epping forest building control department ensures that we have only one contact for all our building control plan applications wherever they are within the country. this provides not only a more efficient service but more importantly a working relationship with our dedicated officer who is on hand for any technical questions we may have about the building regulations, this is especially practical as the construction industry moves into ever more sustainable design with new products and new building systems. we feel this is a great advantage to us as a practice and therefore an ultimate benefit to our clients.

riba practice

riba practice cleardesigns is registered with the royal institute of british architects; the uk body for architecture and the architectural profession. the riba sets standards for the education of architects and management of contracts. it also works to improve the design quality of public buildings, new homes and new communities.
